The steel structure
Our kits are structure only: the engineered steel frame of your home, roll-formed from BlueScope TRUECORE steel. Wall frames and roof trusses are made to your floor plan, and steel subfloor systems can be supplied where your site needs one. Engineering and permit drawings
Every kit is engineered for your site, with structural certification for your wind, soil and bushfire conditions and the drawings your council or building surveyor needs for a permit. Designs are prepared to current NCC 2022 requirements, including a 7 Star energy rating (NatHERS).

How long does manufacturing take?
The manufacturing lead time is 4 to 6 weeks. Frames are made in Melbourne and at our other hubs, and we distribute from Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Bundaberg, with delivery Australia wide.
What is a structure-only kit home?
It is the steel frame of the house, engineered and manufactured for your plan, without the finishing materials. You choose your own builder, trades and finishes, or manage the build yourself as an owner builder.
Can I use my own floor plan?
Yes. Upload your plans or a sketch and we will prepare a steel frame design and quote for it, or start from one of our kit home floor plans.
